Report on National Mathematics Day

Date- 22/12/2021
Venue- Boys Higher Secondary School Sopore.

The event was initiated with Tilawat – Quran, various speakers spoke pertaining to the subject of mathematics, speakers while speaking on the occasion said, ” there is a constant fear among the present generation when it comes to mathematics, only a few choose this subject by choice. In order to eradicate the fear we need to identify the problem and rectify it. Teachers role is very important in motivating and molding the children in such a manner so that they become passionate learners of the subject. Quoting various Mathematicians and discussing its inception and importance the general opinion of all speakers were to have friendly approach to the subject.

The student of Sanctorum have brought 4th position in quiz competition at a day long National Mathematics Day. The school team was represented by Shaista Farooq and Sualiha Shabir of class 10th. Mementos and appreciation certificates were also distributed among students.
